Our place is 4.8 x 6.2 x 2.9 at the moment (in the photo) if that helps you visualise what that area feels like. We will end up with a smaller room one the acoustic treatment is in place.

Dio, I am not certain so I am hesitant to comment but it looks as though you do not yet have a ceiling trap. My studio's designer says the ceiling trap is the most important. How much sound will be getting into the area above your soffits must surely be less than that which bounces off the ceiling. ...

If we told friends that we spend time comparing our plasterboard densities surely they would claim that we are all crazy.
