Sweet, yep bonding old to new got it. It is not fun up there... So is backer rod important? If I leave 10mm around the sleeve I think 30mm is no problem, in increments... Thanks for the info Stuart, I may get one when the isolation measured are complete, at the moment I’m able to go out any time of the night and record guitar and sing which is a massive improvement and good for the soul!
