Greetings all,

While I don't have a studio yet, I did just receive a new Ruggard dry cabinet. Between my microphones and my wife's video gear (for her online art classes), it was on our list of purchases. A major photo-video-audio retailer in New York had them on a great special last week, so we got the 80L model.

I am also a nature photographer, so my camera bodies will be happy. Unfortunately, my 500mm F4 won't fit, so I still need desiccant. Ugh.

All the best,

Paul

I'd never heard of dry cabinets until your post Paul, so thank you for the education. Sounds a bit like the opposite of a cigar humidor!

Cheers,
Jennifer

Greetings Jennifer,

Yes, precisely. While the one I got isn't terribly big (think bedside table), some of them are quite massive indeed (with prices to match).

As I intimated in my post, much more convenient than plastic bags and dessicant, provided you have the space.

All the best,

Paul
